An Afternoon in the Country

We think we live in the country.  We joke that when we go into town we call the neighbours to see if anyone needs anything ‘from town’.  We have lots of grass, a gravel driveway and baby birds everywhere.  And horses.

Yesterday we visited a friend who really does live in the country.  She owns an organic blueberry farm and four sweet chickens.  The girls enjoyed shortcakes with blueberries and raspberries that they picked and we came home with two just-laid eggs!

Thank you Heather and Lily for sharing your afternoon in the country with us.
